CSWWCSA statement

Over recent weeks Neil Lennon has come in for severe criticism from the media. This relates to two instances regarding referees. On both occasions Neil was correct to question the decisions that were made. Firstly an awarded penalty was overturned and the referee lied to the Celtic manager about his reasons for doing this and secondly, a penalty was awarded by a referee who had his back to play, and could have in no way seen the incident. These fact seem to have escaped the media who now seem intent on casting Neil Lennon as the villian. The Central Southwest and Wales CSA would like to offer its full support to Celtic and Neil Lennon in their attempts to ensure fair and transparent refereeing for all clubs within Scotland
